GroupnShop is an online social networking service used by people to form groups with common interests and/or neighbourhoods. In addition, Members are able to use the Site to buy, sell and rent items to other Members of their Groups, or to the broader GroupnShop community.

Members are able to join existing Groups, or create their own Groups on GroupnShop and invite others to join.

Each Group is managed by one or more Group Administrators (“Group Admin”), who are usually the people who created the original group.

Each Group Admin sets the rules for their specific groups. However, if there is a discrepancy between any individual Group’s rules and these Terms, these Terms govern.

If at any time you are either concerned or confused about any Group’s rules or these Terms, please contact us at [email protected]. We’re happy to address your concerns.

Q Is there a GroupnShop app that I can use on my phone?

There’s one coming very soon. We launched the website first and have formatted it to be smartphone friendly, but it’s not the same as an app. We’ve begun work on the app and plan for it to be available within 5 - 6 weeks. We’ll send you a notification when it’s available.

Q What do you mean by prohibited items?

These are items that are not allowed to be bought, sold or given away on the GroupnShop website or app. Please refer to the Terms of Use section on the site for a complete listing of Prohibited Items.
